Frequently Asked Questions

Every area has different needs — the right fence depends on your usage, location and budget.

BRC Fence — The most popular fencing choice for residential properties in Malaysia. Durable, cost-effective and suitable for houses, gardens and housing estates.

Chain Link Fence — Known locally as pagar hijau, chain link fencing is widely used for homes, schools and commercial areas. Easy to install and cost-effective for long perimeter fencing.

Anti-Climb Fence — Built for high-security perimeters. The tight 75mm x 12.5mm mesh makes it finger-proof and extremely difficult to scale or cut through. Ideal for factories, warehouses and industrial areas that require stronger perimeter protection.

Semi Anti-Climb Fence — The practical middle ground between BRC and Anti-Climb. Stronger security than standard BRC fencing, but more cost-effective than a full anti-climb system.

Cyclone Mesh — Best suited for farms and livestock areas. The flexible fastlock wire design withstands pressure from cattle and goats. A cost-effective option for large agricultural land.

Electrode Mesh (Electric Fence) — For properties requiring maximum security. Suitable for farms, industrial zones or any high-risk location prone to trespassing and intrusion.

WPC Fence — The premium fencing option for modern homes. Looks like real wood, rust-proof and requires minimal maintenance — built to last in Malaysia's tropical climate.

Concertina Razor Barbed Wire — Can function as a standalone fence or as a security add-on on top of existing fencing. Commonly used in factories and high-risk areas.

Metal Deck Hoarding — The standard requirement for construction sites. Must be installed before work begins to comply with local authority regulations. Protects site privacy and manages public safety.

Beyond fencing, Fenceliner also supplies and installs sliding gates, swing gates and folding gates — compatible with any fence type for a complete one-stop fencing solution.

Both options are available. Fenceliner offers supply-only for customers who prefer to self-install or already have their own contractor.

But if you want a hassle-free experience, we also provide a full supply and install package — from materials right through to completed installation. No need to source a separate supplier, hunt for a contractor or coordinate between different parties. Fenceliner handles everything from start to finish.

Fence installation cost in Malaysia depends on several factors — fence type, height, total length, ground condition and project location. Pricing for residential fencing also differs from factory, warehouse, commercial or industrial fencing projects that require a higher level of security.

Fenceliner offers both supply-only and full supply and install packages, depending on your requirements. For installation projects, the quotation typically covers both material and labour costs unless stated otherwise.

Larger areas, challenging terrain or remote locations may also affect the overall fencing cost. For an accurate quote, contact us now and send us photos and measurements of your area.

Fenceliner accepts multiple payment methods for your convenience, including:

  • Cash
  • DuitNow QR
  • Online Bank Transfer
  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Instalment / Progressive Payment (subject to approval)

For fencing installation projects, payment is typically structured as a deposit before work begins, followed by the remaining balance upon completion — depending on the project type and scale.

If you have specific payment requirements or a large-scale project, contact our team to discuss suitable payment terms.

The lifespan of a fence depends on the fence type, material, surface finish and surrounding environment. With the right specification, most fencing systems can last anywhere from 10 to 20 years or more — with minimal maintenance required.

At Fenceliner, most of our products including BRC Fencing and Anti-Climb Fencing use Hot Dip Galvanised (HDG) or powder coating finish to provide superior protection against rust and harsh outdoor conditions — including Malaysia's tropical climate and monsoon weather.

Beyond material quality, proper installation also plays a critical role in ensuring your fence remains structurally sound and durable over the long term.

If you are unsure which specification suits your area, the Fenceliner team is ready to recommend the most suitable fencing solution for your property.

Fence post size depends on the fence type, height, installation location and security requirements of each project.

For example, for BRC fencing between 4 to 6 feet in height, Fenceliner typically uses SHS GI Hollow Post 65mm × 65mm, subject to fence height and site conditions. For higher security applications such as Anti-Climb Fencing, post specifications are selected based on the structural and load requirements of the project.

Beyond post size, we also take into account wall thickness, post spacing, installation method and ground conditions — all to ensure your fence is structurally sound, stable and built to last.

If you are unsure which specification suits your project, the Fenceliner team is ready to recommend the most suitable solution based on your site and budget.

Yes, absolutely. Fenceliner provides fully customised fencing solutions tailored to the needs, budget and function of each area.

For example, WPC Fence can be combined with BRC Fencing to achieve a balance of privacy and security. BRC Fencing can also be paired with Chain Link Fence, Anti-Climb Fencing, Metal Deck Hoarding or custom gates — depending on your project requirements.

Every area serves a different purpose. That is why the Fenceliner team will recommend the most suitable fence combination based on your site type, security level, design preference and budget.
